³⁷ But the One God raised from the dead did not ·experience [^Lsee] ·decay [corruption]. ³⁸ [^LTherefore] ·Brothers [^LMen, brothers], ·understand what we are telling you [know this]: ·You can have forgiveness of your sins [^LForgiveness of sins is announced to you] through ·Jesus [^Lthis man]. ³⁹ The law of Moses could not ·free you from your sins [justify you; make you righteous]. But through Jesus everyone who believes is ·free from all sins [justified; made/declared righteous].
